How AI Agents Work
What an AI agent is, what goes into one, and how we build yours.
AI Agents / Guide
An AI agent is software that does work. A chatbot waits for you to ask a question. An agent is given a job, the tools to do it, and the rules to do it safely.
Then it carries the job from start to finish: it reads documents, pulls data, makes routine decisions, takes action, and hands off to a person when it should.
Think of it as a team member that follows your process the same way every time, never skips a step, and works around the clock.
It takes over the repeat, rules-based work that fills your team’s day.
Handle more volume with the team you have.
Every action follows your rules and is logged, so you can check what it did.
Each agent can reach only what its job needs. Its work is checked before anything is sent.
You get the full source code and the rights to it. No lock-in.
We look for work where the agent earns back its cost in weeks, not quarters.
Your first agent is the hardest one. While we build it, we also build the base underneath it: a system that captures how your business works, your rules, your data, and your voice.
Every agent after that starts from the same base, so the second one takes a fraction of the time and the third is faster still. You end up with a working layer for your business that gets cheaper to extend the longer you run it.
A system that holds up in daily use has eight layers. We build and maintain all of them.
01
Who the agent is, its role, and how it speaks for your business.
02
What it knows: your field, your team, your tools, and the work in progress.
03
Reusable instructions for the tasks you repeat.
04
What it remembers from one session to the next, so it never starts from zero.
05
How it reaches your real systems: email, calendar, files, and your business software.
06
The individual agents, each with one clear job, built on the shared base.
07
How its work gets checked before anyone relies on it.
08
The schedules and triggers that let it run without you.
Every project follows the same four steps. How long each one takes depends on the size and complexity of the work.
1 to 4 weeks
This is the most important step. Before any code is written, we map where your time and money go, confirm the problem is real, and check that an agent is the right tool. You leave with a clear picture of the opportunity and a scoped plan, whether or not you build with us.
1 to 4 weeks
We turn the plan into clickable prototypes and a build-ready spec. You see it and approve it before the build starts, so there are no surprises.
1 to 12 weeks
We build and test the agent. You get a progress update and a review every week.
1 to 3 weeks
We put the agent to work in your business, train your team, and watch it closely.
Most AI projects that fail, fail here. They build the wrong thing fast. Discover is cheap insurance against an expensive mistake.
Each step ends with something you own and keep. You are never obligated to continue.
Once your agent is live, we stay with it. Agent systems need upkeep. Left alone, they fall out of date as your business changes, often within a couple of months.
We offer ongoing management to keep yours sharp: we watch how it performs on real work, tune its decisions, retire what is no longer used, and add new agents on the base you already paid to build.
You can have us run it, or take the keys and run it yourself. Either way, the code is yours.
Every agent in our library came from a real client project.
It starts with a 30-minute call. Tell us the task your team repeats every week, and we will show you where an agent would help most.
